FAQ’S

What sites do you visit during the Sacred Valley tour?

Chinchero, Moray, Salt mines of Maras and Ollantaytambo.

How much time do we spend at each site?

Approximately 50 to 60 minutes, which is more than common Sacred Valley tours. This will give you enough time to visit every site and to take amazing pictures.

Can we get dropped off in Ollantaytambo instead of returning to Cusco?

Yes, your guide will be notified, and you will be left off in front of the railway station or in the main plaza to grab some dinner. Please keep in mind that you can only bring a backpack weighing up to 5-6 kilograms on the train to Aguas Calientes. Larger luggage may make it more difficult for you to board the train.

Is it allowed to fly drones?

No, the usage of drones is prohibited on every site we’re going to visit in the Sacred Valley.

Are there any additional costs?

The Cusco tourist ticket (S/ 70 for a partial ticket valid for two days, S/ 130 for a general ticket good for ten days) and the admission fee to the Maras Salt Mines (S/ 10). Both tickets are available at the locations’ entrances. Bring some money if you want to enjoy the traditional foods in Chincheros or buy some handicrafts or water during the day.

What is the difference between a group tour & private one?

Our group trips are led by two to eight other tourists. Private excursions are only for you and your traveling companions. Furthermore, you will have the option to start later, but because the sites shut at 5.30 pm and our program begins at 7.00 am to provide for as much time as possible, you will have less time on the sites visited if you choose to depart later.
