Review

One of the most spectacular walks in the Urubamba mountain range takes us through the Andean landscape and the home of the direct descendants of the Incas. In these communities we can observe local customs and animal husbandry methods unchanged since the time of the Incas. During this 5-day experience, you will be able to see archaeological and cultural wonders, Machu Picchu, and the spectacular Lares Valley with its waterfalls, crystal clear streams, and abundance of plants and wildlife. Relax in the outdoor thermal pools near the colonial city of Lares and visit the unique city of Ollantaytambo, the only remaining example of Inca urban planning that is still in use today. The trip ends with an unforgettable visit to the jewel in the Inca crown, the legendary Lost City of the Incas, Machu Picchu.
