Your journey in the Inca Trail 2- day, begins in the charming city of Cuzco at 4am, where you will embark on a scenic bus ride to Ollantaytambo and by train from Ollantaytambo to KM 104, where the Inca Trail begins. From there, enter the trail and prepare to be captivated by breathtaking views of snow-capped mountains, lush valleys and ancient ruins.
We will hike uphill for about 4 hours until we reach the archaeological site of Wiñay Wayna. Here, we will eat our box lunch while enjoying a beautiful view.
After enjoying a well-deserved lunch, we will continue walking to the sun gate Inti Punku. From this point, we will have the first breathtaking view of Machu Picchu, so it is the perfect place to take some pictures. The highlight of the day is at the Historic Sanctuary of Machu Picchu. Afterwards, we will head to the entrance of Machu Picchu to take the bus to the town of Aguas Calientes.
At the end of the day, enjoy a well-deserved rest in the town of Aguas Calientes, in a comfortable 3-star hotel and spend the afternoon strolling around this charming town and tasting the local cuisine before retiring for the night.

Today we will rise early to continue with a 2-hour expedition to the legendary Machu Picchu to see the incredible sunrise before the crowds arrive. As you catch the first rays of sunlight illuminating the ancient citadel, you will understand why it is considered a sacred city in the world.
Here you will have a 2-hour guided tour of the enigmatic ruins to learn about their significance and importance to the Inca civilization. Marvel at the temples, palaces and terraces that have stood the test of time.
Afterwards, you may choose to climb Huayna Picchu. Take a moment to soak in the peaceful atmosphere and admire the breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains before returning to Aguas Calientes.
At the end of the excursion, you will return to Aguas Calientes by bus and in the afternoon you will take the train to Ollantaytambo, from where our driver will transfer you back to your hotel in Cusco.
